Jefferson County Food Banks take part in Give Jefferson
Jefferson County Food Bank Association is taking part in Give Jefferson, which runs from November 15th to December 31st! Give Jefferson is part of United Good Neighbors a non-profit focused on supporting front line efforts like delivering food, shelter, healthcare, and education for those most in need. When giving to Give Jefferson, you're helping your community.
That means helping two women who came to the food bank for the first time after getting laid off. When they learned they could get food on their first visit, tears of relief greeted the food bank volunteers. It also means supporting our community and feeding the approximately 2,500 families that visit the four locations of Jefferson County Food Banks in Port Townsend, Ti-Area, Quilcene and Brinnon. The pandemic has changed a lot of how the world works, but being there for each other hasn't changed.

This year, local donations to Give Jefferson will be matched by All in WA, a statewide relief effort supporting workers and families impacted by COVID- 19.
