Jefferson County Food Bank Association seeking board members
- Providing Food & Hope To Those In Need –
P.O. Box 124, Port Hadlock, Washington 98339
The Quilcene Food Bank is in desperate need for a new site! The kickoff for the campaign for new location will be a benefit concert by the outstanding local blue grass group, Rhythm Ride, on Sunday, August 25, at 4:00 PM at Community United Methodist Church, Port Hadlock.
The Quilcene Food Bank currently serves on average a 1000 people a month at the Community Center in Quilcene; the numbers and the need keep growing. However, the Quilcene Community Center serves a number of other community activities and as a result the space that is available for the Quilcene Food Bank is severely limited, and not suited to food storage or distribution. The limited space available also prevents the Food Bank from any expansion of services.
The suggested donation of $10.00 per person will help us in our pursuit of a new location to allow us to better serve our community and feed our hungry neighbors.
If you can’t join us for the concert, but would like to make a donation, you can send a check to:
Quilcene Food Bank,
PO Box 112, Quilcene,
Please write on the Memo section of the check
